Event Data

The Updating event's data class is LinqServerModeDataSourceEditEventArgs. The following properties provide information specific to this event:

Callback	Gets or sets the asynchronous callback method that a data-bound control supplies to a data source for asynchronous insert, update, or delete data operations.
Handled	Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the event handler has completely handled the event or whether the system should continue its own processing. Inherited from HandledEventArgs.
Keys	Gets a dictionary of field name/value pairs that represent the primary key of the row to process.
OldValues	Gets a dictionary that contains the original field name/value pairs for the processed row.

Remarks

Handle the Updating event to perform additional actions before the EntityServerModeDataSource performs the update operation, or manually perform the operation.

To allow updating, enable the EntityServerModeDataSource.EnableUpdate option.
