Namespace: DevExpress.Web

Assembly: DevExpress.Web.v18.2.dll

Declaration

[DefaultValue(false)]
public bool Selected { get; set; }
<DefaultValue(False)>
Public Property Selected As Boolean

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean

false

true if the item is selected; otherwise, false.

Remarks

If the ASPxMenuBase.AllowSelectItem property is set to true, end users are allowed to select menu items via mouse clicks. A menu control (which can be either the ASPxMenu or ASPxPopupMenu) also provides the ability to select a particular menu item via code. You can use the Selected property of a menu item for this purpose.

Note that the item whose Selected property is set to true is displayed selected only if the menu control's ASPxMenuBase.ItemLinkMode property is set to the ItemLinkMode.ContentBounds value.

In order to select a specific item from the level of a menu control, use the menu's ASPxMenuBase.SelectedItem property instead.
