Interleaved 2 of 5

Interleaved 2 of 5 is a high-density numerical barcode based on the Standard 2 of 5 symbology. It is used primarily in the distribution and warehousing industries.

Add the Bar Code to a Report

1. Drag the XRBarCode item from the DX.20.2: Report Controls tab and drop it onto the report.

   

2. Set the XRBarCode control’s Symbology property to Interleaved2of5 (an object of the Interleaved2of5Generator type).

   

3. Specify common barcode properties and properties specific to Interleaved 2 of 5.

Specific Properties

• CalcCheckSum

  Gets or sets whether to calculate a checksum for the bar code.

• WideNarrowRatio

  Gets or sets the density of a bar code’s bars.

Runtime Example

The following code creates the Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode and specifies its properties.
