If your application is designed according to the MVVM pattern, use the HamburgerMenu.BottomBarItemsSource property to specify the source of data for items in the menu’s bottom bar, and the HamburgerMenu.BottomBarItemTemplate or BottomBarItemTemplateSelector property to provide a data template used to visualize these data objects. If the data template is not specified, the string representation of the data objects is used.
