RichEditCommands.changeFontItalic Property

Gets a command to change the italic formatting of characters in a selected range.

An object that provides methods that execute the command and check its state.

Remarks

Call the execute method to invoke the command. The method checks the command state (obtained via the getState method) to determine whether the action can be performed.

Usage examples:

richEdit.commands.changeFontItalic.execute();
richEdit.commands.changeFontItalic.execute(true);

This command applies settings to all characters in the selection. If it is collapsed (the selected range’s length equals 0) - the settings are applied to the nearest word.
