RichEditCommands.insertSymbol Property
Gets a command to insert characters into a document instead of a selected range.

Remarks
Call the execute(symbol, fontName) method to invoke the command. The method checks the command state (obtained via the getState method) to determine whether the action can be performed.
You can get the full list of the supported fonts by calling the following command:
richEdit.commands.changeFontName.fontNames;
Usage example:
richEdit.commands.insertSymbol.execute("an example text", "Arial");
richEdit.commands.insertSymbol.execute("an example text", richEdit.commands.changeFontName[1]);
