RichEditCommands.createMergeField Property

Gets a command to replace the selection with a MERGEFIELD (a data source column name is passed with a parameter).

Remarks

Call the execute(fieldName) method to invoke the command. The method checks the command state (obtained via the getState method) to determine whether the action can be performed.
