TdxRichEditControlEditPageFooter Class

An action object that corresponds to the EditPageFooter command provided by the Rich Edit control.

Remarks

This class does not introduce any new public members. Executing a TdxRichEditControlEditPageFooter action object activates the footer editing mode, placing the caret into a footer located on the current document page.

Use the ClosePageHeaderFooter command to deactivate the footer editing mode.

UI elements linked to a TdxRichEditControlEditPageFooter action object are enabled only if the following conditions are met:

The Rich Edit control’s ReadOnly property is set to False;
The Rich Edit control’s Options.DocumentCapabilities.HeadersFooters property is set to TdxDocumentCapability.Default or TdxDocumentCapability.Enabled;
The Print Layout document view is active;
The header/footer editing mode is inactive.

To localize the caption and hint displayed by UI elements linked to a TdxRichEditControlEditPageFooter action object, use the sdxRichEditCommandEditPageFooterMenuCaption and sdxRichEditCommandEditPageFooterDescription resource strings, respectively.
