  • Prepare Your Environment

    • 2 minutes to read

This help topic outlines system requirements and installation options for DevExpress Blazor components.

Complete the prerequisites and installation steps in this topic regardless of your operating system and IDE.

    System Requirements

Ensure that your environment meets baseline requirements for DevExpress Blazor components. For supported operating systems, .NET versions, Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), workloads, and extensions, see Prerequisites.

    Installation Options

Choose one of the following approaches to install DevExpress Blazor components. You do not need to complete both; select the option that best matches your workflow.

    • Unified Component Installer: Recommended for Visual Studio. Registers components in the IDE, creates and configures a local DevExpress NuGet feed, and simplifies updates.
    • NuGet Feed: Universal solution for cross-platform development, build servers, CI/CD, containers, or lightweight setups. Allows direct access to online DevExpress packages without the installer.

    Note

The Unified Component Installer runs on Windows only. For macOS or Linux, use the NuGet feed option.

    Get the Unified Component Installer

Log in to the DevExpress Download Manager and get the DevExpress Unified Component Installer that includes your licensed DevExpress products.

The DevExpress Unified Component Installer registers components in your IDE. It creates a local NuGet feed with DevExpress .NET Core assemblies and adds this feed to Visual Studio.

If you have not purchased a license, you can use the DevExpress Unified Component Installer to install an evaluation version. To download the trial installer, navigate to: Free 30-Day Trial.

    Get NuGet Feed Credentials

Get your personal NuGet feed credentials to access the DevExpress.Blazor NuGet package from your project. You can use the NuGet feed URL or feed authorization key to manage DevExpress packages.

    1. Make sure your DevExpress.com account has access to Blazor UI Components. This product line is included in the Universal, DXperience, and ASP.NET subscriptions. Refer to the subscription comparison matrix for additional information.

    2. Use your DevExpress credentials to log in to the DevExpress NuGet Gallery.

    3. Obtain your NuGet feed credentials and copy them to the clipboard.

      NuGet Feed

You can find the same URL in the Download Manager.
