TdxCustomTreeView.SaveToStream(TStream) Method

Saves node captions and positions in the Tree View control to the specified stream.

Remarks

The SaveToStream procedure uses the system encoding to save node captions and positions. If you want to save information in a different encoding, call the SaveToStream(System.Classes.TStream,System.SysUtils.TEncoding) procedure instead.

Note

The SaveToStream procedure is intended to be backward compatible with the TTreeView control. To save all Tree View settings to the specified file, call the SaveDataToStream procedure.

You can call a LoadFromStream procedure to load node captions and positions from a stream in plain text format. The LoadDataFromStream procedure does not support streams created by a SaveToStream procedure call.
