IcxFilterControl.GetItemLinkName(Integer) Method

Returns the ItemLinkNames collection item.

Remarks

This method is designed to be a ‘read’ method of the ItemLinkNames collection. When implemented, it returns a unique name of a link to the specified filter item. Item links are identified by their zero-based indexes passed via the Index parameter.

For instance, the GetItemLinkName method implemented by a data-aware filter control returns the name of a dataset field bound to a specific filter item.

A grid Table View implements the GetItemLinkName method to return a grid item’s name.

Result := FilterableItems[Index].Name;

The ItemLinks property and the GetItemLink method provide access to item links created in the filter control.
