DefinedName.Hidden Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the defined name should be hidden in the user interface.

Namespace: DevExpress.Spreadsheet

Assembly: DevExpress.Spreadsheet.v19.1.Core.dll

Declaration

bool Hidden { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true, to hide the defined name; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Use the Hidden property to prevent the required name from being modified by an end-user. If you set the Hidden property to true, the corresponding defined name will not appear in the Name box and the Name Manager dialog, so that an end-used will be unable to edit or delete it. However, the hidden names can be used in calculations, and you can go to the object to which the hidden name refers by typing this name in the Name box and pressing ENTER.
