Note

If the group interval does not have format options, this means that corresponding values can only be presented in a single manner. The Format section is not displayed for such group intervals.

To specify a custom format for the date, set the data item’s Group Interval option to Exact Date. This provides additional Format Type options in the Format section.

Currency Format Specifics

The Web Dashboard allows you to specify currency formats for the current data item or for entire dashboard.

  • To set a data item currency format, open the data item menu and go to the Format section. Select Currency as a format type and specify the required culture using the Currency combo box.

You can also specify the dashboard to use the client culture. For this, select the Use client system settings item.

Note

The Web Dashboard allows end users to specify a currency format for individual data items or for the entire dashboard. The main prerequisite is that a corresponding currency culture is installed on the web server where the Web Dashboard is deployed. If the specified culture is not available on the server side, the dashboard displays a neutral currency sign (¤) for formatted values.
