Formatting Specifics

The Chart dashboard item automatically formats values displayed on the chart’s surface or using format settings specified for data items.

Format settings of data items affect the following values displayed on the chart:

• Values displayed within series point tooltips.
• Values displayed within series point labels.
• Values displayed within legend items.
• Values displayed along the X-axis whose type is not set to Continuous.
• Numeric values displayed along the continuous X-axis.
• Values displayed along the Y-Axis.
