'Upgrade DevExtreme Resources' menu item is unavailable

Note

Before you follow the troubleshooting process, ensure that you have .NET SDK 6.0 or later installed and you run Visual Studio 2022 or later. The support for older versions of .NET and Visual Studio has been discontinued in DevExpress ASP.NET Core Controls v22.2.

If the Upgrade DevExtreme Resources menu item is missing, try the following fixes:

  • Check that the DevExtreme.AspNet.Core package version in the project is older than the DevExtreme version installed on your PC. If not, downgrade the DevExtreme.AspNet.Core NuGet package.

  • If the first solution didn’t help, delete the DevExtreme.AspNet.Core NuGet package and client resources.
