Fires before the focused node has been changed.

NodeFocusing: ASPxClientEvent<ASPxClientTreeListNodeEventHandler<ASPxClientTreeList>>

Event Data

The NodeFocusing event's data class is ASPxClientTreeListNodeEventArgs. The following properties provide information specific to this event:

Property Description
cancel Gets or sets a value indicating whether the action which raised the event should be canceled.
htmlEvent Provides access to the parameters associated with the ASPxClientTreeList.NodeClick and ASPxClientTreeList.NodeDblClick events.
nodeKey Gets the processed node’s key value.

The NodeFocusing event enables you to prevent moving node focus. To do this, set the event parameter’s cancel property to true.

The newly focused node is identified by its key value, returned by the ASPxClientTreeListNodeEventArgs.nodeKey property. The previously focused node’s key value is returned by the ASPxClientTreeList.GetFocusedNodeKey method. To obtain node values, use the ASPxClientTreeList.GetNodeValues method.
