XtraReport.SaveLayout(Stream, Boolean) Method

Saves the report definition to a Stream object as a Code Document Object Model (CodeDOM) graph, with an exception thrown if an error occurs.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
stream	Stream	A Stream object to which to save a report.
throwOnError	Boolean	true to throw an exception on error; otherwise, false.

Remarks

A report definition contains all report settings and information about report controls. The SaveLayout method saves a report as a Code Document Object Model (CodeDOM) graph. To save a report definition in XML format, use the XtraReport.SaveLayoutToXml method.

Use the XtraReport.LoadLayout and XtraReport.FromStream methods to load a report.
