TdxMapItemFileLayer Class

An item file layer.

Remarks

This class implements the item file layer, a map layer that obtains map items from vector data files (KML files or Esri shapefiles) and draws these map items on a map. The class publishes properties and events inherited from its ancestor class and introduces members that allow you to:

Specify the data format and full path (including the path, name, and extension) of the file to be loaded into the layer (FileType and FileName).
Load map items from the specified vector data file into the layer and make them available for display in a map control (Active, LoadFromFile, LoadFromStream, and LoadShapeFileFromStream).
