Remarks

The show password icon appears on the right side of PasswordEdit when the password is hidden. When a user taps the icon, the editor reveals the password and changes the icon to the hide password icon (HidePasswordIcon). Use the PasswordIconVisibility property to change the visibility of the show password icon.

To set a custom image for the show password icon, follow the steps below:

1. Add the icon file (for example, icon.png) to your platform-specific projects:

   • Android
     Add the icon file to the Resources/drawable folder.
   • iOS
     Double-click the Assets.xcassets asset catalog, create a new icon image set, and add the icon to this image set.

2. Assign the icon to the ShowPasswordIcon property:

   XAML

   <dxe:PasswordEdit ShowPasswordIcon = "icon"/>
   

You can also use the HidePasswordIcon property to set the custom image for the hide password icon.
