Smart Duplicate Selection

CodeRush allows you to create structurally similar code blocks.

Select a code block and press Shift+Enter to duplicate it.

Smart Duplicate Selection provides the same features as Smart Duplicate Line (for example, underline code changes, increment/decrement single letter identifiers).

Tips and Tricks

• Press Shift+Enter without code selection to repeat the last duplication.
• Use the Multi-Select feature to define text fields before duplication.
• Smart Duplicate Selection can generate unnecessary text fields. Press the Esc key to dismiss text fields.
