CardView.SetCardCollapsed(Int32, Boolean) Method

Collapses or expands the specified card.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Card

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v19.2.dll

public void SetCardCollapsed(
    int rowHandle,
    bool collapsed

Name Type Description
rowHandle Int32

An integer value representing the card's handle.

collapsed Boolean

true to collapse the specified card; false to expand the specified card.

Use the SetCardCollapsed method to collapse or expand individual cards. Note that calling this method will have no effect if the View's CardOptionsBehavior.AllowExpandCollapse property is set to false.

The SetCardCollapsed method checks whether the specified card is currently expanded. If it is and the collapsed parameter is set to true, this method collapses the card. If the card is already collapsed and the collapsed parameter is set to false, the card is expanded.

To specify whether individual cards are allowed to be collapsed or expanded, handle the View's CardView.CardCollapsing and CardView.CardExpanding events, respectively.

Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the SetCardCollapsed member must not be invoked for these Views. The SetCardCollapsed member can only be used with real Views that are displayed within the Grid Control. The real Views with which an end-user interacts at runtime can be accessed using the following methods.
