Remarks

For bar item links whose ShouldDrawDropDown property has returned true, you can call the BarItemCustomDrawEventArgs.DrawArrow and BarItemCustomDrawEventArgs.DrawDropDownBackground methods to paint a drop-down arrow and menu background with their default appearance settings. Otherwise, these elements will not be painted, which allows you to draw them manually. See the BarManager.CustomDrawItem event to learn more.
