Parameters

control	Control	The control for which to display the tooltip.

Remarks

Text and appearance settings for the tooltip are obtained from the eShow parameter. If the parameter’s ToolTipControllerShowEventArgs.Show property is false, the tooltip will not be displayed.

To create a ToolTipControllerShowEventArgs object based upon current ToolTipController settings, you can use the ToolTipController.CreateShowArgs method.

The method raises the ToolTipController.BeforeShow and ToolTipController.CalcSize events before the hint is displayed.

The ShowHint method does not support flyout tooltips. Use the FlyoutPanel‘s methods instead.
