Checks the specified control for spelling mistakes.

Parameters

editControl	Control	A Control object representing a control to be checked for spelling mistakes.

Remarks

There are several types of controls already registered for use with the DXSpellChecker:

• TextBox
• TextEdit
• MemoEdit

Objects of these types can be passed as a parameter to this method.

Note

Before calling the Check method with the RichEditControl object as a parameter, it is necessary to register the RichEditControl control to be used with the DXSpellChecker. For an example on how to do this, refer to How to: Enable Spelling Check-As-You-Type for the Rich Edit Control .
