Remarks
Hit testing allows you to recognize which element is located at the specified screen coordinates. For instance, you may have to determine which part of a Table View a user has clicked or double-clicked. To obtain this information, use the TableView.CalcHitInfo method. This method returns the TableViewHitInfo object whose properties can be grouped into three logical categories:
- Properties identifying the visual element of a View that contains the test object. For instance, the GridViewHitInfoBase.Column and GridViewHitInfoBase.RowHandle properties identify the column and row whose elements are under the test object;
- Properties indicating whether the test object resides over a particular View element. For instance, the GridViewHitInfoBase.InColumnPanel property indicates whether the test object is over the column header panel;
The TableViewHitInfo.HitTest property identifies the visual element located under the test object.
