AxisLabelItemBase.EnableAntialiasing Property

Gets or sets whether antialiasing is applied to the axis label item’s contents.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraCharts

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraCharts.v19.1.dll

Declaration

[XtraChartsLocalizableCategory(XtraChartsCategory.Appearance)]
public DefaultBoolean EnableAntialiasing { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description
DefaultBoolean

True to apply anti-aliasing to the axis label’s text; False to disable anti-aliasing; Default to automatically determine whether or not anti-aliasing is required.

Available values:

Name Description
True

Corresponds to a Boolean value of true.

False

Corresponds to a Boolean value of false.

Default

The value is determined by the current object’s parent object setting (e.g., a control setting).

Remarks

Use the EnableAntialiasing property to apply anti-aliasing to an axis label’s text. For example, this may be required when the AxisLabel.Angle property isn’t set to 0.

Note

By default, the EnableAntialiasing property is set to DefaultBoolean.Default. This means that anti-aliasing rendering is disabled when a text is not rotated (its angle is set to 0) or is rotated to a value multiple of 90 (i.e. 90, 180 or 270 degrees). For all other rotation angles, anti-aliasing is enabled by default.
