WebExportController.CustomWriteToResponse Event

Occurs after the data represented by the ExportController.Exportable List Editor has been exported.

Namespace: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.SystemModule

Assembly: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.v19.2.dll

Declaration

public event EventHandler<CustomWriteToResponseEventArgs> CustomWriteToResponse
Public Event CustomWriteToResponse As EventHandler(Of CustomWriteToResponseEventArgs)

Event Data

The CustomWriteToResponse event handler receives an argument of the CustomWriteToResponseEventArgs type. The following properties provide information specific to this event.

Property Description
FileName Specifies the name of the file to which the browser can save the stream passed as the CustomWriteToResponseEventArgs.Stream parameter.
Handled Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the event handler has completely handled the event or whether the system should continue its own processing.
(Inherited from HandledEventArgs)
Stream Specifies the stream to be sent to the browser.

Remarks

By default, after data is exported to a stream, the stream content is sent to a client's browser with the help of the HttpResponse object and the execution of the page is stopped. Handle this event to manually send the stream content to a client's browser. Set the handler's Handled parameter to true to cancel the default behavior.
