ErrorHandling.SendAlertToAdmin(String, String, String) Method

Sends an alert to the application administrator.

Parameters

Name Type Description
errorId String

A string representing the identifier of the error that occurred.

errorDetails String

A string representing detailed information on the error that occurred.

errorText String

A string representing the text of the error message.

Remarks

By default, the application administrator receives error alerts at the e-mail address specified in the application configuration file via the ErrorReportEmail parameter (see Error Handling in ASP.NET Web Forms Applications). You can customize the process of sending an alert to the application administrator by handling the ErrorHandling.CustomSendErrorNotification and ErrorHandling.CustomSendMailMessage events.
