Remarks
The StoreSpaceOptions property specifies whether to save/load the distance settings of layout items when you call the SaveLayoutTo… and RestoreLayoutFrom… methods. These settings are specified by the following options:
- BaseLayoutItem.TextToControlDistance and LayoutGroup.OptionsItemText.TextToControlDistance
- BaseLayoutItem.Padding and BaseLayoutItem.Spacing
Initially, when the StoreSpaceOptions property is set to Default, (de)serialization of these settings is disabled.
(De)Serialization of distance settings is enabled in the cases below:
- The StoreSpaceOptions property is set to True.
- The StoreSpaceOptions property is set to Default and any of the following properties is set to true: RestoreTextToControlDistance, RestoreGroupPadding, RestoreLayoutItemPadding, RestoreRootGroupPadding, RestoreTabbedGroupPadding, RestoreGroupSpacing, RestoreLayoutItemSpacing, RestoreRootGroupSpacing, RestoreTabbedGroupSpacing. Note that these properties are now hidden at design time; they are left for backward compatibility.
