Public Event UnboundExpressionEditorCreated As UnboundExpressionEditorEventHandler

Event Data

The UnboundExpressionEditorCreated event's data class is DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Base.UnboundExpressionEditorEventArgs.

Remarks

The Expression Editor lets an end-user edit expressions for unbound columns. The Expression Editor can be invoked as described in the GridColumn.ShowUnboundExpressionMenu topic.

The UnboundExpressionEditorCreated event fires after the Expression Editor has been created, but before it's displayed onscreen. You can handle it to perform the following tasks:

  • prevent the editor from being displayed. Set the event's ShowExpressionEditor parameter to false to hide the editor.
  • customize the editor form's settings. Use the event's StandardExpressionEditorForm parameter to access these settings.

For a code sample, see the following example online: How to customize the Expression Editor.
