Gets the zero-based index of the specified object in the item collection.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
item	Object	The item to locate in the collection.

Returns

Type	Description
Int32	The zero-based index of the specified item in the current collection, if found; otherwise, -1.

Remarks

The IndexOf method returns the position of the specified item in the current collection. If the item is not found in the collection, the function returns -1.
