  • OfficeNavigationBar.DisableInactiveFormItemHover Property

    Gets or sets whether the control disables mouse hover effects (highlighting) and the display of Peek Forms for the control’s items when the parent form is inactive.

    Namespace: DevExpress.XtraBars.Navigation

    Assembly: DevExpress.XtraBars.v25.1.dll

    NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

    Declaration

    [DefaultValue(false)]
    [DXCategory("Behavior")]
    public bool DisableInactiveFormItemHover { get; set; }

    Property Value

    Type Default Description
    Boolean false

    true, to disable item hover effects and Peek Forms when the parent form is inactive; false, otherwise.

    Remarks

    If the DisableInactiveFormItemHover property is set to true and the OfficeNavigationBar‘s parent form is inactive, mouse hover effects are disabled for the control’s items. No popup Peek Form (see OfficeNavigationBar.ShowPeekFormOnItemHover) is displayed when you hover over the items either.

    If the DisableInactiveFormItemHover property is set to false, the inactive parent form is activated before the control displays an item’s Peek Form.
