Remarks
By default, when the FlyoutShowMode property is set to Adorner, the drop-down tile bars are displayed as flyouts that can only be opened upwards or downwards relative to the TileNavPane in the bounds of the application window. To specify the direction in which the flyout is opened, use the TileNavPane.FlyoutShowDirection property.
It is also possible to display the drop-down tile bars as popups that can be displayed in any direction relative to the TileNavPane, including leftwards and rightwards. The actual direction is automatically determined based on the application window position and the available screen space. For this purpose, set the FlyoutShowMode property to Popup.
