Gets or sets a value that specifies whether token wrapping is enabled. This is a dependency property.
Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Editors
Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v19.2.dll
Declaration
Property Value
Type | Description |
---|---|
Nullable<Boolean> | true, to enable token wrapping; otherwise, false. |
Remarks
If the EnableTokenWrapping property is set to true and the width of a ComboBox does not allow all selected tokens to fit on one line, newly selected tokens will appear on a new line.
Note
Enabling token wrapping also hides the dropdown button .
If you need to display the dropdown, set the ButtonEdit.AllowDefaultButton (via ComboBoxEdit.AllowDefaultButton) property to true.
Tip
You can use the LookUpEditBase.AutoComplete (via ComboBoxEdit.AutoComplete) property to activate the autocomplete feature. When the autocomplete feature is turned on, a combo box displays suggestions based on the entered text.
To provide easier access to selected items, do one of the following.
- Set the TextEditBase.VerticalScrollBarVisibility (via ComboBoxEdit.VerticalScrollBarVisibility) property to Visible or Auto. This way, a user will be able to navigate the tokens.
- Set the ComboBoxEdit.Height property to Auto. In this case, the height of a combo box will be adjusted according to the number of tokens.
