Type Description
Nullable<Int32>

Character spacing from -31680 to 31680 (in twips) or null (Nothing in Visual Basic) for a mixture of values. A positive number specifies expanded character spacing, a negative values specifies condensed spacing.

Remarks

The code sample below shows how to specify condensed spacing (2pt) for a document paragraph:

Document document = wordProcessor.Document;
var targetParagraph = document.Paragraphs[2];
var cP = document.BeginUpdateCharacters(targetParagraph.Range);
cP.Spacing = -2;
document.EndUpdateCharacters(cP);
