Data-bound Report

The topics in this section describe how to create a new report and connect it to data at design time within Visual Studio using the Data Source Wizard.

To create a new report and connect it to data, run the Report Wizard and select Data-bound Report.

The Report Wizard can include the following pages (depending on the selected data source type):

• Select the Data Source Type
• Choose Fields to Display in a Report (Multi-Query Version)
• Add Grouping Levels (Multi-Query Version)
• Specify Summary Options (Multi-Query Version)
• Choose a Report Layout
• Choose a Report Style
• Set the Report Title
