Report Document Creation

  • Linux-based environments cannot generate 3D Charts that use the OpenGL library.
  • Export to EMF and WMF image formats is not supported on Linux.
  • Deserialization from CodeDOM format is not supported.
  • The ImageExportOptions.Resolution property does not work in Linux- and Mac-based environments.
  • Mac-based environments cannot embed fonts in exported PDF files.

Visual Studio Report Designer

  • Report inheritance is not supported.
  • The ObjectDataSource component cannot obtain the data source schema directly from referenced assemblies. You should define your business object in the project’s code so the object can be instantiated at design time.
  • The preview for reports whose data source is based on the Entity Framework is unavailable.
