Assembly: DevExpress.XtraEditors.v22.1.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

Declaration

[DefaultValue(DefaultBoolean.Default)]
[DXCategory("Appearance")]
public DefaultBoolean AllowAnimationOnValueChanged { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
DefaultBoolean Default

True if the sparkline reflects changes to the chart values using animation; False if not; Default uses the WindowsFormsSettings.AnimationMode global setting.

Available values:

Name Description
True

true. DefaultBoolean.True has a constant value of 0, while the standard true value corresponds to a value of 1. In Visual Basic, do not use implicit conversion of Boolean values to DefaultBoolean, and vice versa, as the conversion may produce incorrect results.

False

false. DefaultBoolean.False has a constant value of 1, while the standard false value corresponds to a value of 0. In Visual Basic, do not use implicit conversion of Boolean values to DefaultBoolean, and vice versa, as the conversion may produce incorrect results.

Default

The default behavior determined by the control’s logic.

Remarks

The SparklineEdit control can reflect changes in the chart values using a smooth animation. If the AllowAnimationOnValueChanged property is set to Default, the behavior is controlled by the WindowsFormsSettings.AnimationMode global setting. If the global setting is set to Default or EnableAll, the control changes chart values using animation. Otherwise, the animation is disabled. Use the AllowAnimationOnValueChanged property to override the global setting for the SparklineEdit control, and explicitly specify whether to use animation.

For in-place editors (in Grid Control or Bars), animation effects are always disabled, regardless of the animation settings.
