Type	The type of the editor to be created.

Remarks

The EditorType property initially contains the type of the default editor to be created (e.g., TextEdit is the default editor for string data source fields). You can change the EditorType property to override the default editor type.

The FieldRetrievingEventArgs.PropertyName setting specifies the name of the editor’s bound property.

Set the FieldRetrievingEventArgs.Handled property to true to apply the changes you make via your DataLayoutControl.FieldRetrieving event handler. Otherwise, the changes are discarded.
