ChartControl.EndInit() Method
Ends the ChartControl‘s initialization.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraCharts
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraCharts.v19.2.UI.dll
Declaration
Remarks
The Visual Studio .NET design-time environment calls this method to finish initializing a component. The ChartControl.BeginInit method starts the initialization, the EndInit method finishes it. Use the BeginInit and EndInit methods to prevent the control from recalculating its layout.
Note
Calling the ChartControl.BeginInit method prevents any validation from being performed until the EndInit method is called. This may lead to unexpected results in the case of any initialization errors.
Note that chart’s layout is recalculated in the following cases:
- A chart is being rendered.
- When getting the Range.MinValue, Range.MaxValue, Range.MinValueInternal, Range.MaxValueInternal, Range.Auto, Range.AutoSideMargins, Range.SideMarginsValue, DateTimeScaleOptions.MeasureUnit and SeriesBase.ActualArgumentScaleType property values.
- The
ChartControl.EndInit
, XYDiagram2D.DiagramToPoint, RadarDiagram.DiagramToPoint and XYDiagram2D.ShowCrosshair methods are called.
