PivotGridControl.GetFieldValue(PivotGridField, Int32) Method

Returns the specified field value.

    int lastLevelIndex

Parameters

Name Type Description
field PivotGridField

A PivotGridField object that represents a column or row field whose value is to be obtained.

lastLevelIndex Int32

A zero-based index of a cell that identifies the required field value. Indices are numbered starting from the left edge for column fields, and from the top edge for row fields.

Returns

Type Description
Object

An object that represents the field’s value.

Remarks

The following image shows how rows are numerated (columns are numerated in the same manner):

In this example, the GetFieldValue method will return:

  • Beverages for the Category Name field and cell’s index=0;
  • null for the Product Name field and cell’s index=0;
  • Beverages for the Category Name field and cell’s index=1;
  • Chai for the Product Name field and cell’s index=1.
