Namespace: DevExpress.Web.ASPxHtmlEditor

Assembly: DevExpress.Web.ASPxHtmlEditor.v24.1.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Web

Declaration

[DefaultValue("")]
public override string CommandName { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
String String.Empty

A String value that specifies the command name associated with the toolbar item.

Remarks

When you create a custom toolbar item which should execute a custom action, use the CommandName property to define the unique command name. If this command name differs from the names of default commands available via the ASPxClientCommandConsts object, the ASPxHtmlEditor generates the ASPxClientHtmlEditor.CustomCommand client event. This event allows you to implement logic for the custom action executed by your custom toolbar item.

The command name of a toolbar item is used on the client side when calling the client ASPxClientHtmlEditor.ExecuteCommand method or handling the ASPxClientHtmlEditor.CommandExecuted client event.
