Template Gallery

The DevExpress Template Gallery contains a set of predefined templates that you can use to create projects with DevExpress ASP.NET Web Forms controls.

Follow the steps below to run the DevExpress Template Gallery.

1. In Visual Studio, click New Project.

2. Select DevExpress Web App/Web Site Template Gallery and click Next.

   

3. Configure project settings and click Create.

The DevExpress Template Gallery contains the following elements:

• Platform Selector - Allows you to choose an application platform.
• Language Selector - Allows you to choose a language: Visual C# or Visual Basic.
• Template Categories - Enumerates all available template groups.
• Search Box - Allows you to search for a template by its title.
• Run Wizard Button - Runs the Project Wizard that allows you to generate and customize the project.

ASP.NET Web Forms Project Templates

Project Template	Description
Web Application	An ASP.NET web application powered by DevExpress ASP.NET AJAX Controls.
Dashboard Web Application	An ASP.NET web application with the DevExpress Web Dashboard control. This template allows you to build an interactive data visualization UI.
Reporting Web Application	An ASP.NET web application with the Document Viewer and End-User Report Designer controls. This template allows you to preview documents, and create and customize reports.
