Namespace: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.Editors

Assembly: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.ExpressApp.Web

#Declaration

public virtual bool SupportInlineEdit { get; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true if the current Property Editor can be displayed in edit mode for inline editing in a Grid List Editor; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

When a List Editor is displayed by the ASPxGridListEditor in edit mode, appropriate Property Editors are created to allow inline editing. However, some Property Editors cannot be displayed in edit mode in a grid. To deal with this peculiarity, WebPropertyEditor descendants have the SupportInlineEdit property. In the base WebPropertyEditor class, this property is set to true. When implementing a custom Property Editor, you can override this property to return false.
