public sealed class HtmlPropertyEditorWindowsFormsModule :
    ModuleBase

#Remarks

Important

The HTML Property Editor Windows Forms Module is required for compatibility with legacy WinForms XAF applications. If you create a new application, use the Office Module instead. With this module, you can edit HTML-formatted text in WinForms applications. It also supports RTF and DOCX formats. Refer to the Use Rich Text Documents in Business Objects topic for more information.

The HTML Property Editor Module comprises two assemblies:

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.HTMLPropertyEditor.Win.v24.2.dll

    Contains classes that are required in Windows Forms applications only.

    This assembly represents a module, since it contains the HtmlPropertyEditorWindowsFormsModule class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

  • DevExpress.ExpressApp.HTMLPropertyEditor.Web.v24.2.dll

    Contains classes that are required in ASP.NET Web Forms applications only.

    This assembly represents a module, since it contains the HtmlPropertyEditorAspNetModule class - a descendant of the ModuleBase class.

The HtmlPropertyEditorWindowsFormsModule class exposes properties whose values determine the behavior of the Windows Forms specific functionality. To set these properties, select the HtmlPropertyEditorWindowsFormsModule component in the Application Designer‘s Modules section, and use the Properties window.
