LayoutControlItem.ContentVertAlignment Property

Gets or sets the vertical alignment of a control inside this layout item. This property is in effect when the control’s maximum height is limited, and is less than the layout item currently provides.

Available values:

Name Description
Default

Places the text to its default position. The default position is in the center of an object.

Top

Places the text to the top of an object.

Center

Centers the text within an object.

Bottom

Places the text to the bottom of an object.

Remarks

If a layout item is stretched vertically, and the control inside this item has a limited maximum height, the control area can be higher than this maximum value. In this case, you can use the ContentVertAlignment property to move the control inside its layout item.

To move a control horizontally, use the ContentHorzAlignment property instead.
