Obtain Information About the License Holder

  • 2 minutes to read

Each developer that uses DevExpress products and Support Services must have an individual license. If your company has purchased one or more licenses and you wish to use DevExpress Support Services included with your license, your company license manager must assign the license to your personal DevExpress.com account. The license manager can do this from the Manage and Assign Licenses web page (https://www.devexpress.com/ClientCenter/LicenseManager). For more information about the DevExpress licensing model, please refer to Licensing FAQ.

When you contact DevExpress support, our support engineers will check to see if you have an active subscription in your account that includes the product specified in your ticket. If we are unable to find a suitable subscription, we may contact you with instructions on how to confirm your eligibility for our support services.

Follow the instructions below to determine the DevExpress.com account that owns your license.

Note

Once you identify the DevExpress.com account:

  • If you own the account, use your credentials to log into the account, and submit tickets from it.
  • If you do not own the account, contact the account owner and request that they assign a license to your DevExpress.com account.

“Your License Information” dialog

The “Your License Information” dialog displays the DevExpress.com account that was used to install/register DevExpress .NET products on your machine, as well as the expiration date of your license. If DevExpress UI components are installed in trial mode, the dialog displays the trial expiration date. Please note that information may take up to 10 seconds to load and display.
