Remarks

This event occurs when the AppearanceObject.ForeColor, AppearanceObject.BorderColor, AppearanceObject.BackColor, AppearanceObject.BackColor2, AppearanceObject.Image or AppearanceObject.GradientMode property of objects that are stored in the collection is changed.

The BaseAppearanceCollection.Changed event is called when any setting is changed (including the ones listed above).
