Conditional Formatting

The conditional formatting functionality is designed to emphasize and distinguish important data. Individual rules apply custom formatting to cells that meet the specified criteria (such as unique, duplicate, average values, etc.) that depend on rule types and settings. Rules that affect the same cell or cell range can either complement (if the rules define different cell appearance options or formatting criteria) or override each in accordance with their precedence.

Users can manage and customize rules via dedicated dialogs and a public API that the conditional formatting engine provides in the following controls:

• Spreadsheet (TdxSpreadSheet);

• Report Designer (TdxSpreadSheetReportDesigner);

• ExpressQuantumGrid (TcxGrid);

• ExpressVerticalGrid (TcxVerticalGrid, TcxDBVerticalGrid, and TcxVirtualVerticalGrid);

• ExpressQuantumTreeList (TcxTreeList, TcxDBTreeList, and TcxCustomTreeList).
