BarItem.LargeGlyph Property

Gets or sets the item’s large image.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraBars

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraBars.v24.1.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
public virtual Image LargeGlyph { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description
Image

A Image object that represents the large image that will be displayed within the item’s link(s).

Remarks

The bar item’s large image can also be specified using the BarItem.LargeImageIndex property.

If both the LargeGlyph and BarItem.LargeImageIndex properties are specified, then the link’s image is specified by the LargeGlyph property. In other words, the LargeGlyph property takes priority over the BarItem.LargeImageIndex property.

If it is necessary to specify an image that corresponds to the disabled state of a link, use the BarItem.LargeGlyphDisabled property.

See the BarItem.LargeImageIndex topic to learn which bar elements support large images.

You can use the BarItem.ImageUri property to assign an image (by its common name) from the DX Image Gallery to a button. This property supports the mechanism of automatic image selection based on the app context (the current skin and required image size). The BarItem.ImageUri property has priority over the BarItem.Glyph, BarItem.LargeGlyph, BarItem.ImageIndex and BarItem.LargeImageIndex properties.
